洗足学園音楽大学声楽コースの三本柱 ①【オペラ】
洗足学園音楽大学には早くから《オペラ研究所》が設置され、本格的なオペラの研修が行われて来ました。1982年よりご指導頂いた演出家の故鈴木敬介先生を始め、秋山和慶先生の指揮、演出や舞台監督に 平尾力哉先生、中村敬一先生、小栗哲家先生、舞台衣裳の渡辺園子先生 と言った日本オペラ界の重鎮をお迎えして研鑽した、長い歴史があります。
3・4年生が履修するオペラ実習の授業では、オペラ界第1線で活躍する先生方と、今年度からはオペラ指揮者として数多くの作品に携わる 時任康文先生のご指導の下学んでいます。
1年間の成果を発表する「オペラ実習ガラコンサート」では、演出的な動きや舞台の配置も学生達が研究し、舞台の仕込みから舞台装置の設置、背景のプロジェクター、字幕の準備、そして撤収まで、演奏者として光り輝く照明が当たる部分だけではなく、オペラが生まれる裏側までもを、全て学生達の手で行う学びの場でもあります。
故鈴木敬介先生のいらした当時からの伝統的な舞台衣装に身を包んだ学生達が、オペラの舞台ヘアメイクで変身して、1年間の成果を歌い演じる学生達の雄姿・優美な姿をどうぞご覧くださいませ。
また、《オペラ研究所》から続いて『フィガロの結婚』『コジ・ファン・トゥッテ』『魔笛』『蝶々夫人』『ヘンゼルとグレーテル』などをレパートリーとしてきた学園のオペラは、学生はもとより教員、卒業生、そして洗足学園小学校の子供達も交えた、SENZOKU OPERAとして大切に受け継がれて参りました。
今年度は歌劇『ヘンゼルとグレーテル』を取り上げ、指揮者には時任康文先生、オペラからミュージカル、2.5次元の舞台までを手がける演出家、田尾下哲先生をお迎えして、稽古を進めています。オーディションで選ばれた学部生、大学院生、既にオペラの世界で活躍中の卒業生というキャストと、洗足学園音楽大学バレエコースの学生による華麗なバレエシーン、そして電子オルガンに弦楽器アンサンブルと打楽器、という先生方や学生の演奏で、洗足学園音楽大学ならではのコースを超えた舞台芸術となっております。
多摩美術大学演劇舞踊デザイン学科による衣装・小道具のご協力も頂いて創造された、グリム童話の夢の世界を是非お楽しみ下さいませ。
